Oslo Airport, Norway

Herbert Systems have been awarded a contract to supply nine X series TRS lanes for the new Oslo Terminal 2 building, due to open in 2017. The award of nine X series TRS lanes was based upon the successful completion of two proto-type lanes which are currently in use in a trial area at the airport. The two lanes are part of a passenger trial to improve throughput and customer experience for the Oslo airport security checkpoint process.

The project is supported by Herbert Systems local agent/distributor Nordic Defence & Security AS who will also be responsible for maintaining and servicing the TRS lanes. The X series lane are designed to be configurable to allow different materials to be used for cladding for architecturally sensitive environments.

Incheon Airport, Korea

Incheon airport in Korea will be home to 30 TRS E series lanes when completed in 2018. The project is currently in its third phase of construction, which includes building the new terminal that will house the lanes.

Herbert Systems collaboration with Smiths Detection will provide a seamless security checkpoint in Inchoen's State of the art facility, which will include the construction of a three-tower luxury hotel complex, a 20,000 square meter retail space as well as a Korean cosmetics and beauty hub.
