*   Regional Airport operated by UK’s largest Airport Operator

Challenge: A 90° feed onto a conveyor was causing damage to their belt which resulted
in numerous belt changes and significant downtime. Limited space and access was a factor we had to consider.

Action: Designed simple conveyor construction that allowed easy assembly on site in a confined space, but does not require on site belt vulcanising.

Result: Launch of the Endura Conveyor with centre drive to allow reversing when
required. The modular belt with its positive drive solved the belt tracking and damage problems. The customer has had no breakdowns since installation in February 2005 and they save approx. £2000 per month in belt maintenance.

Quote:
“After having to replace the old belt sometimes 2 – 3 times a month, the
Endura Conveyor has been running for over a year, with no intervention required from our engineers. This belt system will have a significant future in the airport industry”
