Largest UK Airport operated by UK’s Largest Airport Operator

Challenge: The UK’s largest Airport Operator required automation of a manual
alignment system prior to scanning equipment which has a narrow infeed, providing
easy access for manual intervention to allow oversize cases to be extracted.

Action: Prototyping of different ideas to solve the problem involving our “supplier partners” to achieve a system that requires low maintenance and is easy to use, but giving consistent results.

Result: A Pathfinda System with a unique modular belt with angled rollers, along with functional software was developed. It gives consistent results along with high
throughputs.
